“A new star in the firmament at the foot of the Atlas Mountains!
In the Riad Laarouss district, a few minutes from the famous Jmaa El Fna square, five minutes from the Riad Laarouss gardens, a 15-minute walk from the Majorelle gardens and very near the souk of the different guilds of tradesmen: tanners, cabinetmakers, coppersmiths, weavers, dyers, and others.
In this district you will find all kinds of shops: patisseries (oriental ones, of course), traditional bakers using wood ovens where you take the kneaded dough from home for cooking, barbers, a pharmacy, restaurants, Moorish cafes, many fruit and vegetable stalls, a traditional Hammam and much more.
The bus station, with its coaches leaving for Essaouira, Agadir and Ouarzazate, is a ten-minute walk away.
The Riyad has two magnificent terraces where you can have a sumptuous breakfast or traditional meal (to order), or sip your mint tea. At night, you will have the chance to see the princess of Marrakech’s mosques, the famous Koutoubia, lit up in all its splendour.
The peace and quiet you absorb from this genuine Riad will fill you with a true, lasting oriental magic.”
And that’s how Riad Chams was born not just as a house, but as a tribute to the Moroccan soul.
Every corner holds a story, every detail was crafted with heart.
Today, we open our doors so you too can become part of this story,
because here, every guest leaves a mark… and takes a piece of Chams with them.
Welcome to our home. Welcome to Marrakech.
